Having loved art since I can remember, I completed my A-Levels and went on to do an art and design foundation course at Dewsbury College. It turned out to be the best year ever as they introduced me to ceramics. I specialised in ceramics during the time I was there and completed the course with distinction.
It was a shame the course only lasted a year because I wanted to learn more and gain more skills, so I went to Bradford University where I completed a degree in art and design and specialised in ceramics for three years. This has taken me to where I am today!!
I have my own workshop and kiln and have started up in business on my own. I love what I do and always have!
Throughout my years of ceramics I have focused on the human figure. It is amazing how many interpretations of the human form there are, and throughout the four and a half years I have been creating I have never made the same piece twice. This is why I think my work is special and unique because they are one off pieces of art to be enjoyed by the individual knowing that no one else in the world has one the same.
I hope you like the work I have done.
